About

We are an amateur theatre group who regularly produce plays, pantomimes and musicals throughout the year. The theatre is situated in the main high street in the Wiltshire village of Codford just off the A36 between Salisbury and Warminster at the edge a Salisbury plain and next to the beautiful Wylye Valley.

Our members consist of performers both old and young as well as set builders, backstage crew, wardrobe staff, technicians and front of house helpers, most of which are drawn Codford, surrounding villages and nearby Warminster.

The theatre has its own bar selling beers, wines and soft drinks which can be pre-ordered before the start of the performance for the interval, as well as tea, coffees and ice creams. The 107 seat auditorium itself, boasts air conditioning, heating and the audience can enjoy very comfortable seating with plenty of leg room and a clear unobstructive view of the stage. There is also easy wheelchair access.

The Woolstore is also used for a monthly Moviola film night featuring the latest cinema classics and from time to time, is hired by passing theatre companies and musicians for their touring show or event.

‘We came from Portchester on the invitation of one of the cast to see "Aladdin" It was thoroughly enjoyable and all those concerned are to be congratulated, particularly the Children who were brilliant! (Wonderful Audience participation too)’ B & G Dollery
