having happily celebrated her 89th birthday two days before, with close friends. A service was held at St. Peter’s in Codford and was incredibly special for those privileged to be among the limited number able to attend. When permissible a huge party will be held at TheWoolstore Theatre in her memory.
The Committee have decided to undertake maintenance and small refurbishments whilst the theatre was closed and will be ready to open, wit a production od Dad’s Army. Monthly readings were taking place, before lockdown, and will recommence as soon as we are able. A concert of songs and sketches from Brenda’s productions will be planned as a tribute to a great lady.
We are most grateful for the support we have received from our membership, especially to those who have retained their tickets for Dad’s Army. Thank you. We feel a deep responsibility to maintain the standard that Brenda has set, and to ensure the Woolstore remains a friendly and inclusive part of our community.
